Since 2013, the SO!APART Awards have been presented as part of the SO!APART Conference, the most important industry meeting in the German-speaking serviced flat world. ‘Every year, we present the best apartment concepts in various categories on the big stage," says Anett Gregorius, initiator of the awards and owner of Apartmentservice. For this year's edition, she and her six jury colleagues from the business tourism, the real estate industry, the investment sector, architecture and trade media sectors have just nominated 19 properties in six categories.
In the "neu und besonders" category, the 360° Teamgeist Resort is nominated as a bleisure and workation project in Kolberg/Heidesee near Berlin, as well as one of Ipartment's three current properties in the capital: Ipartment Berlin Mitte. In addition, two Berlin companies have the chance to win the ‘Opening of the Year’ award with their properties in Munich: Nena Apartments München City East and The Base Munich.
The 360° Teamgeist Resort is nominated again in the "kleinen Feinen" category. In addition, the Adapt Apartments Wetzlar, a fully digitally operated property, is also among the top three in this category. The trio is completed by the Open Water Resort in Elsterheide/Lausitz with its floating houses.
As always, the "groß und großartig" category will be awarded in each of the segment's operating models: In the aparthotel category, four hotels that have only been on the market for a few months are nominated: Adina's first property in Switzerland - the Adina Hotel Geneva in Geneva - is being launched, and for Adagio, the newly built Aparthotel Adagio Heidelberg. In Vienna, the Citadines Apart'hotel Danube Vienna is one of the city's new aparthotel highlights. Finally, in Munich, the Residence Inn Munich City is, according to the jury, an exciting conversion near the Theresienwiese.
In the "groß und großartig" category (serviced apartment building), the jury recognised the Rioca Stuttgart Posto 6 in Stuttgart with its Brazilian concept in the top four. Also nominated are the Stayery Bremen Am Wall in Bremen and the newly opened Stay Kooook Geneva City in Geneva. The Flag Oskar M. has been established in Frankfurt for many years and is now also a contender for the SO!APART trophy.
For the first time since 2022, the jury is once again awarding a prize for a living flat concept in the "groß und großartig" category and thus for a residential product. The top 4 include two buildings in Frankfurt: i Live Campus Living Frankfurt with no less than 1,000 apartments and Havens Living Frankfurt Bockenheim in a former office building. Two co-living concepts have also been nominated: Habyt Waterfront Berlin and Poha House Preuswald in Aachen.
The nominations are completed by the candidates in the "nachhaltig und besonders" category. Adapt Apartments Wetzlar is also among the top 4 in this category, while the jury also found the sustainability concept of Bob W Amsterdam Noord in Amsterdam worthy of nomination. Finally, Poha House Preuswald and The Flag Oskar M. are once again contenders for the win in this category.
The final winners will be announced by the jury at the SO!APART annual congress in Leipzig on the evening of 20 November 2024.
Meanwhile, the public will decide on "Das beliebteste Kleine" and "Das beliebteste Große": public voting will continue until 20 October 2024. The winners will also be announced on 20 November.
